A Pre-Application meeting is a meeting you can schedule to have staff provide feedback on your proposal, as well as have any questions answered before you submit any applications. A Pre-Application meeting is not required but is encouraged.

Zoning Ordinance
The Zoning Ordinance establishes districts for the regulation and separation of land uses within city limits. The ordinance includes permitted uses, minimum lot sizes, layout requirements, and overlay districts.

Subdivision Ordinance
The Subdivision Ordinance establishes regulations and procedures for the subdivision of property and coordinates the development of streets, utilities, and the distribution of people and traffic in accordance with the comprehensive plan.
Comprehensive Plan
The Comprehensive Plan is a long-range document that guides the growth and development of the City. The Plan uses community data and public input to establish a set of goals and policies that will guide future development. The Comprehensive Plan includes the Future Land Use Map, Major Street Plan, and Pedestrian Plan.
Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance
The Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance was adopted to limit private and public losses and minimize rescue and relief efforts due to flood events. The ordinance establishes restrictions and standards for development within special flood hazard areas in accordance with FEMA requirements.
