WHAT’s New In Elections:

Meade County will be at the Box Elder Community Center (previously known as the Event Center) on August 30, 2022 for a run-off election.  The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.  If you have any questions or concerns, please call City Hall: 605-923-1404.

MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS

There will not be any city municipal elections upcoming in 2022 unless there is a vacancy created.

VOTER REGISTRATION

There will be a General Election November 8, 2022.  Don't forget to register to vote if you have not done so already.  If you are unsure if you are registered to vote, please visit www.sdsos.gov and enter the applicable information.  Or, you may call the county auditor for assistance with registration verification (Pennington - (605) 394-2153; Meade - (605) 347-2360).

To register to vote, you may go to the applicable county auditor's office or Box Elder City Hall and complete a Voter Registration Form.  These forms are also available online.  You can print, fill out, sign, and mail or drop them off to Box Elder City Hall or the county auditor's office.  The forms and other information can be found by visiting the links below.
